Bingay The Musical
If you like a bit of hilariously ballsy fun, then Bingay is the night out for you.

Get ready to defy gravity at Bingay The Musical!

This September, we’re tipping our Bingay hats to the wonderful world of musicals. Musicals have the power to astound and enthral, thrill and beguile, empower and inspire so we’ll be channelling all that is weird, wonderful and wild in Broadway and the West End!

From the glamorous (think Legally Blonde, Chicago), fabulous (think Priscilla, Kinky Boots) and the whimsical (think The Lion King, Matilda) to the riveting (think A Chorus Line, Les Miserables), affirming (think Hairspray, West Side Story) and the heartwarming (think Billy Elliot, Wicked), Bingay The Musical is a going to be a showtunes-lovers delight. Come as your favourite character – there are prizes for best dressed.

Our show-stopping hosts Charisma Belle and Naomi Palmer will raise the roof with their trademark naughty calls, cheeky banter and hilarious stories. Gird your loins - it's going to be a hoot!

Now in its 18th year, Bingay is a gay Sydney institution. Renowned for its camp, hilarious and cheeky take on bingo, Bingay has been dropping balls and raising funds for ACON – NSW’s leading LGBTI health organisation – since 1999. There are loads of prizes, surprises and giveaways, not to mention a whole heap of fun from our much-loved Bingay volunteers.

If you are a BINGAY virgin, or haven’t been for a while, the night has never been funnier or camp. Our fabulous hosts Charisma Belle and barrel babe Naomi Palmer will lead the revelry, sing up a storm and entertain the audience with silly jokes and madcap hilarity.

Bingay takes over the upstairs bar of The Beresford in Surry Hills on the second Thursday of every month, with each monthly event having a fabulously flamboyant theme.

So whether you’re a regular or a novice, or a local or visitor to Sydney, if you’re up for a wonderfully camp mid-week entertainment experience, then you can’t go wrong with Bingay. It is a night for friends to get together and have fun on a 'school night', that also ends by around 10pm so you can have a great night out without feeling like you can not face work the next day!
