An Awkward Truth part 2

A few more beers and more conversation about everything from sports to politics to cars anything and everything the banter turned to school experiences girlfriends etc . This is where it got awkward as I had no history with girls had never been out with one. He laughed that off saying what a surprise that was as he thought I was quite good looking. I took that face value and the conversation moved on to something else. Another beer and then and then it happened Jason just came out with it" you are gay aren't you ? It's ok I am too."
I went quiet for what seemed like an age and immediately sobered up I hesitated and finally acknowledging something about myself I said yes.
Jason smiled and moved towards me on the couch he put his arm around me pulled me in close and kissed me on the lips I let out a sigh of what can only be described as relief at finally knowing what I am in life and being happy with it. It took another lonely guy to get me to that point to whom I will be forever grateful. Also the sex that night was awesome but that is another story for another time.
